What is Firebird Hacks?

Firebird Hacks is a 24 hour long hackathon hosted by the Fremont High School Programming club, for all skill levels of hardware and software hackers. It is great for both first-timers and veterans, and it is completely FREE.

What is a Hackathon?

A hackathon is usually a day long (24 hours) coding event where programmers, developers, designers, etc. come together to build a unique project. Hackathons are for programmers for all abilites: from absolute beginner to advanced.

About Firebird Hacks


Firebird Hacks is completely free to attend. Anyone within the age range of 13-18 is more than welcome to participate. If you are not within this age range, feel free to contact us.


All of the prizes and judges for Firebird Hacks will be listed on the Firebird Hacks devpost.


Every hacker should bring their laptops, a water bottle, and a student ID. A sleeping bag and pillow is highly recommended but is not required. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided at the hackathon.


The max amount of people in a team is 4, and the minimum is 1 person.


There will be mentors at Firebird Hacks to help hackers on their projects.


Firebird Hacks has 6 workshops aimed to help hackers learn new skills.
